DUSTIN MORRIS
(Dewtone Radio/Iine-In)
Dustin Morris has been immersed in the creation, production, and distribution of electronic music for over 10 years. His ongoing dedication to new media has been driven by a passion for the fusion of sound and technology.
Dustin was introduced to the art of tracking at the age of 14, which lead him to actively participate in the international online demoscene until 2002. While residing in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada), his enthusiasm for rhythm and dance ultimately brought him closer to local DJs, where he would embrace house music and the art of mixing vinyl. Dustin has since grown with the rapidly evolving industry, utilizing today's most advanced software and hardware to help take his performance to new levels.
His obsession with dance culture would motivate him to move to London, England from 2004 - 2006. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe, US and Canada attending some of the world's biggest parties and festivals, developing a broad spectrum of tastes.
In 2003, Dustin launched the website Dewtone to help promote talented emerging artists from around the world and provide a platform for the distribution of their work. The site continues to provide as an outlet for his journalistic aspirations and an interactive forum for his listeners.
